All ceremony participants are required to wear full academic regalia consisting of a traditional black gown and mortarboard with tassel. Master’s and doctoral candidates will have a black gown, hood, and cap with tassel.

Please do not bring personal items to the field. There will be no place to leave items once the processional starts.  You should make arrangements for someone to be responsible for your valuables during the ceremony.

Caps and gowns will be available for purchase at GradFest , or students can pre-order their regalia starting January 12th through March 30th. Pre-ordered regalia will be shipped directly to your home address. Once the March 30th deadline has passed, do not order from the Josten’s website as delivery prior to commencement will not be guaranteed.

For students attending the Honors Convocation:

Please order your regalia from Josten’s website BEFORE MARCH 7TH to guarantee delivery in time.

You can also purchase regalia in person at GradFest , or at the bookstore starting April 6th. Additionally, a very limited supply of regalia will be on sale at the Honors Convocation.

After pre-orders close and after GradFest, you will still be able to purchase regalia directly from the    starting April 6th through graduation day. When ordering online through the bookstore, you may select home delivery or in-store pick up. After GradFest, items may only be purchased a la carte (no package pricing).

Graduates are not required to purchase a new gown, many graduates borrow a gown from graduates who have participated in previous years, or use a black gown from a previous graduation ceremony (i.e. community college).
